Summer Missionaries are training

Please pray for the 15 enthusiastic Summer Missionaries who will be working at Open Door Mission's Summer Bible Day Camp! Led by our Children and Youth leadership team, Pastor Tyrome Charleston, Kyle Behrens and Janice Loud, they will minister to 300 children who are homeless or living in poverty.

Summer Bible Day Camp provides a safe environment as an alternative to possible drug abuse and/or crime activity. Staff provides a loving environment with weekly field trips, tutoring and opportunities for self-expression and creativity. Each child is served a nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack. Each aspect of camp has been carefully planned based on the needs of the children and the best expenditure of money allotted.

Open Door Mission’s Summer Bible Day Camp runs Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., begins on Monday, June 1st and continues thru August 7th. There is no cost to participants, however, your tax-deductible gift of $49 will sponsor one child for an entire week of Summer Bible Day Camp!
