Saturday, June 6th, some of the men in the New Life Recovery and Journey to Work programs escorted graduate Chris Christensen down to Springfield, MO, where he will be attending Victory Trade School's Culinary Arts program. Stan Latta, Open Door Mission's Men's Recovery Services Director said it was a good, long day (16 hours), but the men enjoyed helping Chris get settled into this new chapter of his life.Open Door Mission looks forward to Chris getting his training, and possibly coming back to cook for us some day!
