Today, Inside the Open Door Mission we have been blessed….


A big thank you to the group from Christ Community that are spending their day volunteering at Open Door Mission’s Bible Day Camp. They are playing games, helping with crafts and just ministering to the many children that are attending camp. They are averaging over 100 children each day.

Lori and Ashley spent part of their valuable day volunteering at Timberlake Outreach Center. They helped sort clothes, organize and stock the shelves so low income families and individuals can come and supplement their income and prevent homelessness.

Heather and her group from Pay Pal are here tonight volunteering their time in the kitchen. They are helping prepare and serve the hot nutritious meal this evening to many hungry and homeless men, women, and children.



You can hit a home run for the Open Door Mission. The Omaha Royals are home on Sunday June 28th at 1:35pm and $3 from the purchase of a $6 ticket will go to the Open Door Mission if you purchase your ticket today by calling James at 422-1111.

Currently Open Door Mission is serving more than 1700 hot nutritious meals to many hungry and homeless men, women, and children daily and we need your help. Text “HUNGRY” to 90999 to feed and care for 2 hungry people for just $5
